The ADOFAI Level Editor can be useful even if you do not make charts yourself.
You can use the editor to make levels easier to practice, improve readability, or gradually build up to a chart's full speed.
Recommended: Install Enhanced Effect Remover. It can remove many effects and events from a chart to make it easier to see and play.
Warning: Some decorations and events are important for gameplay. Removing certain decorations can affect Judgement Limit charts and may invalidate a clear. Some track events can also make a chart harder to read or even make the chart invisible. Use Enhanced Effect Remover carefully.
In the Song Settings tab, you can change the chart's playback speed using Pitch.
The value is a percentage of the original speed:
Changing the pitch is useful for practicing difficult sections at a slower speed before gradually returning to normal speed.
Important: Lower pitch is for practice only. A valid clear must still be performed at 100% pitch with Strict judgement.
One of the most useful things you can do with the editor is gradually build up muscle memory.
