Your keyboard can have a noticeable effect on how comfortable ADOFAI feels, especially when playing faster patterns.

You do not need an expensive keyboard to play ADOFAI well, but having a modern and consistent keyboard can help avoid hardware-related input issues.

N-Key Rollover (NKRO)

Your keyboard should support N-Key Rollover (NKRO).

NKRO allows the keyboard to register multiple keys being pressed at the same time without dropping inputs. This becomes increasingly important in ADOFAI as charts begin to require larger numbers of simultaneous inputs.

You can test your keyboard using Keyboard Checker. Press as many keys as possible at the same time and check whether they are all detected.
